Kapton Tape, Silicone Grease, Compression Fittings.
Kapton ® Tape is made from Kapton ® polyimide film with silicone adhesive. It is compatible with a wide temperature range up to 269°C (452°F), ideal for easy installation of small diameter thermocouples on flat or curved clean, dry surfaces. Easily removed, electrically insulating with little to no mess left behind after use.
Silicon Grease generally has an operating temperature range of approximately −40 to 200 °C (−40 to 392 °F). Used for increased heat transfer for RTD temperature sensors in thermowells and between solid state relays and heat sinks.
Compression fitting are used with temperature probes to secure and seal them into a variety of applications. Our standard fittings come with stainless steel ferrules. Teflon® ferrules are available.
